Portions of 75th Street, Lemont Road Down to One Lane

Construction work begins today, Monday, and is expected to take about three weeks.

The DuPage County Department of Transportation expects to close lanes as of today on 75th Street. Lemont Road traffic will also be reduced through lane closures at the intersection of 75th Street while turn lanes are being constructed.

Starting today, Monday, 75th Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from just east of Dunham Road to Lyman Avenue.

Lemont Road will also be reduced to one lane in each direction for up to one-half mile north and south of 75th Street.  A left turn lane will also be open in each direction at the 75th Street / Lemont Road intersection.  The lane closures may be extended west along 75th Street on a daily basis.
