Ice Festival To Span 3 Days In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Live ice carving demonstrations and dozens of ice sculptures will make downtown Downers Grove a winter wonderland for the 2025 Ice Festival.

This year's event is slated to take place Jan. 31 through Feb. 2. Ice carving demonstrations will take place Jan. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Curtiss Streets and on Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Main Street Metra Station.

Completed ice sculptures will be on display outside local businesses, restaurants and other venues downtown. As the event approaches and more information becomes available, Patch will share the locations of each sculpture.
