Lady Mustangs Defeat Trojans with a Convincing Victory
Next up, the lady Mustangs finish up the dual meet season facing off against Morton.

The DGS Swim and Dive team continued their impressive streak of dual meet victories defeating the Trojans of DGN 111 to 75.
Right from the start, the Mustangs took an early lead earning a first place finish in the 200 yard Medley Relay with the team of Alyssa Reinholz, Allie Puccillo, Annie Lienart, and Paige Vondrasek.

Sophomore Makaila Scheiblein and Junior Beth Vetter placed first and second in the 200 yard Freestyle. Junior Paige Vondrasek and Freshman Nicole Molnar took first and second place in the 50 yard Freestyle. Junior Alyssa Reinholz clinched first place in the 100 yard Freestyle followed by Makaila Scheiblein in second place.
Continuing the night of impressive swimming, the Mustangs swept the top three places in the 500 yard Freestyle with Beth Vetter, Sophomore Kaitlyn Hopp and Senior Juli Beierwaltes. DGS finished first in the 200 yard Freestyle with Scheiblein, Vondrasek, Molnar, and Freshman Anna Bogdanski.

Reinholz secured the top spot in the 100 yard Backstroke and the Mustangs swept the top three places in the 100 Breaststroke with Leinart, Puccillo and Sophomore Savannah Duax. Also in the 100 Breast Aimee Dragas broke her own school record for Athletes with Disabilities by 5 seconds going 2:06.78.
The final victory of the night was earned by the 400 yard Freestyle Relay featuring Scheiblein, Vondrasek, Molnar and Reinholz.
