Lineup Unveiled For Summer Concert Series In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — If the recent warm weather has made you look forward to concert season, you may be glad to know the Downers Grove Park District just unveiled its 2024 Summer Concert Series schedule. The 2024 series will kick off May 21 and will feature free live music Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. at Fishel Park.

This year, the summer concert series features a new sponsor, The Eric Hamilton Team at Guaranteed Rate. Hamilton is a Downers Grove resident who was raised in the village. In a statement, he said the sponsorship helps foster his goal to make a "positive impact" on the community.

Other sponsors include Community Bank of Downers Grove, Jackson Family Dentistry, the Kim Moustis Group of Keller Williams Experience and SportClips Haircuts.

• May 21: Good Clean Fun playing pop hits
• May 28: Rosie and the Rivets playing retro rock hits
• June 4: The PriSSillas playing female-led rock hits
• June 11: Cadillac Groove playing soul and R&B
• Sushi Roll playing rock and pop hits
• Generation playing soul and classic rock music
• Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band playing Jimmy Buffet covers
• Kaleidoscope Eyes playing Beatles covers
• The Disco Circus playing disco tunes
• One Night Band playing pop hits
• Nashville Electric Company playing country music
• Industrial Drive playing 1980s to contemporary hits
• Valius playing rock and pop covers

The family-friendly shows will also include free face painting for children until 8:30 p.m.
