DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Two cars were burglarized within a day of one another while they were parked in two different lots in Downers Grove. The incidents took place Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 respectively.

Car Burglarized in 4900 Block of Forest Avenue

A man told police he parked his car in a lot in the 4900 block of Forest Avenue around 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 16. When he returned to his car, he found the passenger window had been shattered and the glove compartment had been rifled through. No items were reported stolen.

Car Burglarized in 2100 Block of Prentiss Drive

Police say someone's wallet was stolen from their car while it was parked in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive. The incident took place on Feb. 17 around 1:30 p.m.

This pair of burglaries comes just days after a car wasstolen from Hampton Inn Suites and cars were burglarized while they were parked at XSport Fitness and Good Samaritan Hospital.
