Music Scholarships Available For H.S. Seniors Near Downers Grove
The Rotary Club of Downers Grove will honor up to six high school seniors with cash scholarships.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Thousands of dollars in scholarship money is available to music students who live in Downers Grove or live in the footprint of Community High School District 99 schools. Presented by the Rotary Club of Downers Grove, the Charles Dickerman Music Scholarships honor the memory of Dickerman, a bagpiper and nuclear physicist at Argonne National Laboratory.
To be eligible for a scholarship, students must:
- Be a senior set to graduate from a public, private, parochial or home school
- Live in Downers Grove or the area of attendance for District 99
- Be set to pursue a secondary education
- Have a background in music activities in or outside of high school
In addition to musicians, the scholarship is open to students who arrange and compose music. Scholarships of up to $5,000 are available. Click the link to apply for a Charles Dickerman Scholarship.

The deadline to apply by email is March 18. Supplemental video auditions are due April 9. Virtual interviews are slated for April 14.
