Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo To Promote New Kids' Book In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Rock power couple Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will make a stop in Downers Grove on Sept. 4 as they promote their new book "My Grandma and Grandpa Rock!" The event, hosted by Anderson's Bookshop, will include an author talk at Tivoli Theatre.

Set to be released Sept. 9, the children's book celebrates grandparents, highlighting how they "rock" through self-expression and individuality even if they aren't literal rock stars. Published by Sourcebooks Jabberwocky, the book is illustrated with vibrant images by children's book illustrator Tiffany Everett.

Admission to the author event includes one pre-signed copy of "My Grandma and Grandpa Rock!" Tickets are $27 for one adult and $32 for one adult and one child (includes one book copy).

Benatar is also the author of the memoir "Between a Heart and a Rock Place," which was published in 2010.
