Rolls Royce Dealership Seeks Extension For Complete Date In Downers Grove
The TIF-eligible development was initially set to be finished by the end of 2025.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Village Council will review a request to extend the completion date for a Rolls Royce dealership. The tax increment financing-eligible (TIF) development will be built at Ogden and Florence near the company's existing Lamborghini and Bentley dealerships.
Village documents show that petitioners Gold Coast Exotic Imports are seeking to extend the project's completion date to April 30,2027. The initial completion date had been set for Dec. 31, 2025.
The development includes remodeling the site's 16,000 square foot building and adding a new two-story building that will be the dealership's service center. A parking lot is planned for 4241 Florence Ave. to house the dealership's vehicles.

As part of the Ogden Avenue TIF District, the development will eligible for a reimbursement of up to $2.5 million once the project wraps. It's estimated the Rolls Royce dealership and Gold Coast Imports' other dealerships will generate up to $6 million in sales tax revenue for the village over the next decade.
Ahead of the Oct. 21 village meeting, developers had finished adding the dealership's parking lot and were in the process of getting permits to build and remodel the buildings. The requested extension, which would allow time for permits and subsequent construction, has been recommended for approval by village staff.
