For decades, an icon of Downers Grove has been silent and forgotten, left to fall into a suburban horror story of disrepair. But now, spirits will rise, as this long-vacant Victorian landmark re-emerges from the ashes, and guests new and old will be united. Take a self-guided tour to discover why this hotel earned a reputation as the most haunted building in DuPage. R/NR: $8 at the door. 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Living Cemetery, 10 a.m. - noon
Presented by the Downers Grove Historical Society is again at the Main Street Cemetery. The heart of Living Cemetery is a cast of costumed actors portraying figures of various ages and walks of life buried in the cemetery. As visitors tour the grounds they can gather around each figure to be told a bit of her or his life in old Downers Grove.
