Update: No Criminal Intent in Popcorn Misunderstanding: Police
Police patrols have been increased at parks and schools.

Update:
Detectives have found the pickup truck described in the incident, thanks to a good description by the boys. Police believe the incident was an innocent misunderstanding, and there was no criminal intent, according to Lt. David Bormann.
The man’s wife had reportedly told him to get rid of the extra kettle corn, and he was trying to be nice in offering to give it away.
