Woodridge Police Reports: Car Burglary, DUI, Property Damage

The following information is courtesy of the Woodridge Police Department.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred at approximately 1:08 a.m. Oct. 23 in the 2800 block of Burr Ridge Court. Someone removed the stereo from a parked car.

A residential burglary occurred sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive. Someone entered an apartment and removed a Play Station 4 game system.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 6600 block of Wheatfield Street. Someone entered an unlocked car and removed a GPS device and a projector.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 6600 block of Wheatfield Street. Someone entered an unlocked car and removed a camera.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 23 and 11:04 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 6400 block of Bradley Drive. Someone entered three unlocked cars, removing CD’s from one of them.

At approximately 4:03 a.m. Oct. 24, Krystal Garduno, 21 of Cinthia Drive in Warrenville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following the investigation of a car stopped in the roadway on 83rd Street at Piers Drive.

At approximately 7:25 a.m. Oct. 24, Eduardo Lopez, 23 of the 8100 block of Rutherford Drive in Woodridge, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while license revoked, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and criminal trespass to car following the investigation of a traffic accident in the 8200 block of Rutherford Drive.

At approximately 3 a.m. Oct. 25, Steven Cantore, 26 of the 200 block of Meadowbrook Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 8200 block of Route 53.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 12:01 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 2600 block of Internationale Parkway. Someone entered a parked car and removed a laptop, a drill and a circuit tracer.

A theft occurred at approximately 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at Thornton’s Gas Station, 2401 63rd Street. Someone pumped $45.62 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Oct. 27 and 11:01 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone scratched the hood of a parked car.

At approximately 3:12 p.m. Oct. 28, Korey Thomas, 34 of the 2000 block of Apple Lane in Woodridge, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 7600 block of Janes Avenue.
