Woodridge Police Reports: Firearm Possession, Car Burglary, Theft
The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Sept. 11

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Sept. 3 at the BP Amoco, 1935 87th St. Someone made entry into an unsecured vehicle and took a cell phone.
At about 6:53 p.m. Sept. 4, Brian Liszka, 28, of Bent Tree St. in Bolingbrook, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Timothy Kim, 29, of Sype Drive in Carol Stream, was charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 83rd Street.

At about 11:25 p.m. Sept. 4, Rhakeen James, 20, of Tower Court in Downers Grove, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of firearm ammunition without a FOID card and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop, 75th Street at Route 53.
A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 2500 block of 75th Street. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and took a purse.

A theft occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. Sept. 5 and 6 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 3000 block of 75th Street. Someone took a central air conditioning unit from a building.
A retail theft occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. Sept. 6 at Walgreens, 2501 75th St. Someone took a backpack without paying.
At approximately 4 p.m. Sept. 6, Alexis Knight, 20 of Rockhurst Road in Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft after attempting to return an item she hadn’t purchased.
At about 11:12 a.m. Sept. 7, Anthony Richiusa, 20 of Cleavland Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with fleeing and eluding, speeding 26-plus miles over the limit and improper lane usage following a traffic incident in the area of Route 53 and 75th Street.
