Elgin Shooting Injures Man: Police

The man, who was seriously injured, was transported to an area hospital.

ELGIN, IL — A man was seriously injured in a shooting in Elgin Sunday, police said.

The Elgin Police Department responded to the 300 block of Bent St. at 10:18 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located the injured man and transported him to an area hospital.

The police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call (847) 289-2600.
