Woman Bit Police Officer, Family Member: Prosecutors
Fang Wang, 42, is facing multiple charges of aggravated battery and attempting to disarm a police officer.

BARTLETT, IL — A Bartlett woman is being held on a $25,000 bail after authorities said she bit a family member and a police officer during a domestic dispute Tuesday.
Fang Wang, 42, is also accused of injuring another officer with her fingernails and attempting to take an officer's stun gun while at Central DuPage Hospital for an evaluation.
According to police, officers arrested Wang after responding to a call of domestic violence at around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Georgian Place.

The woman is facing felony counts of aggravated battery and attempting to disarm a peace officer. She is also charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and obstructing a peace officer, prosecutors said.
Neither the family member nor the police officers had life-threatening injuries as a result, police said.

Wang is scheduled to reappear in DuPage County court on Nov. 5.
