A neighbor in Streamwood told FOX 32 that her daughter was best friends with Uyani Jones and had been on the phone with the girl around 7:45 p.m. when she heard yelling and Janiya Jenkins say, “Don’t kill the kids.”

The neighbor said the victims’ 7-year-old brother and a niece came to her house seeking help and she called the mother, who was at work, and went to the home, where the neighbor found a bloody scene on the second floor, according to FOX 32.
