$750K Bond Set for Addison Man Accused of Possessing Child Porn

A 49-year-old Addison man is being held on $750,000 bail after he was charged with two counts of child pornography in DuPage County.

David Prefountain was arrested Wednesday after the Addison Police Department was tipped off to Internet child pornography activity in the area, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The investigation lead officers to Prefountain, and the execution of a search warrant at his home revealed a Kindle tablet containing images of child pornography.

Prefountain’s next court date is scheduled for Oct. 5. If he is able to post bond, additional conditions for bond state he can’t have contact with children younger than 18 and he can’t have Internet access, according to the state’s attorney’s office.
