ELMHURST, IL — Have you ever been tempted to paint but don’t know where to start? Attend the Acrylic Painting Workshop at The Abbey on Aug. 9 from 9-11 a.m., which is open to all skill levels, but perfect for beginners who want to get their feet wet.
All supplies will be provided. Participants will choose a painting by a well-known artist (Monet, O’Keeffe, Kandinsky and others) to use as a reference for your painting.
Color blending and painting techniques will be taught in this fun workshop. Ages 50 and up may register. Fee is $34 resident or $39 non-resident/non-member. Call (630) 993-8193 to register or visit epd.org.
