Addison, IL – The Addison Township Mental Health Board has launched a new website to better serve area residents in need, according to Board President Don Puchalski.

“The Mental Health Board exists to provide real-time services to individuals in our community struggling with mental health issues,” Puchalski said. “This a brand-new board and a brand-new venture in our community. The purpose of our website is to make it easier and more convenient for individuals in our community struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse and other mental health issues to get the help they need.”

In 2022, Addison Township voters approved a referendum that established the Addison Township Mental Health Board to fund mental health, intellectual/development disabilities, and substance use services that serve township residents. In February 2023, Addison Township Supervisor Dennis Reboletti appointed seven Addison Township residents to serve on the mental health board.

“Not only are the individuals serving on this board well qualified for the job but they also have a heart for public service and they genuinely care about the Addison community and they care about the people in need of the services the Mental Health Board provides,” Reboletti said. “There are people ready and able to help you if you need it. I encourage anyone struggling with mental health issues to go to the website and get the help you deserve.”
