Brian E. Wagner’s Fund Proudly Grants 4 Scholarships to Class of 2025
BEW Charitable Cause Salutes High School Leadership in Elmhurst

Since Brian Edwin Wagner’s tragic passing in an auto accident at age sixteen, his life story has helped many students achieve their pursuits for higher education. Outstanding leaders who are selected for the scholarship that bears Brian’s name receive $2500 towards their college tuition. Brian was a friend to all and lead by example. He lived out loud and seized every chance to shine his light of optimism. Brian’s tenacity towards making a difference typifies the mission of the BEWSF (Brian E. Wagner Scholarship Fund). The organization encourages high school students to improve their lives and the lives of others by exercising sound judgment and committing themselves to volunteer programs. The cause reminds us that tomorrow is never guaranteed. We must live with integrity and make every moment count.
Our four recipients used their initiative and talents to influence and inspire others. All have followed in Brian’s footsteps by opening doors for other determined young men and women to do the same. The BEWSF has donated over $100,000 in college tuition funding since it was established in 2010. More information about the application process can be found at http://brianewagnerfund.org/. All high school seniors can apply for the privilege to be named next year’s honorees. There is no GPA requirement to receive this award.
BEWSF, Director Barbara Wagner-Lackey congratulates this year’s class, “Our recipients are true examples of the person that Brian was. It's gratifying to know they have succeeded in all their many high school activities and are becoming amazing people! We wish them good luck in their college experience. And thank you to all our supporters and benefactors for your continued belief in our remembrance of Brian.”
