I-290 Construction Clean-up Delay Slows DuPage County Traffic: Report

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — Expect some delays for your Monday morning commute if you're driving in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 290. WGN-TV is reporting the delays are from I-355 to Addison Road due to a construction project that was supposed to be cleaned up by 5 a.m.

The Illinois Department of Transportation relayed the information regarding the construction delay to WGN-TV.

As of 7 a.m., the reported delay is causing at least a 20-minute backup, reports WBBM.
