ELMHURST, IL – The Illinois Tollway is closing Elmhurst's Vallette Street link to Berkeley for nine days, from May 6 to May 14, the city of Elmhurst said in a news release Thursday.

It is part of the years-long Interstate 294 expansion project, which seeks to reconstruct and widen the expressway from Balmoral Avenue to 95th Street.

Vallette Street connects to Berkeley's Electric Avenue. The closure is weather-dependent.
