Elmhurst Dog Feces Thrower Charged With Disorderly Conduct: Police

The local woman is accused of the dirty deed, which took place a couple of blocks from her house.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving the throwing of dog feces, domestic battery, a restaurant disturbance, burglary, an attempted syringe theft, a stolen wallet and porch piracy. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:

Dog feces throwing

  • A 67-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 700 block of South Bryan Street was cited about 5:30 a.m. Saturday on a charge of disorderly conduct involving befouling property. Police said the woman threw a bag of dog feces in a front yard in the 600 block of South Parkside Avenue, a couple of blocks away from the woman's house. She was released.

Domestic battery

  • A 35-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 900 block of North York Street was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday at his home on two counts of domestic battery. A person called the police to say his parents were fighting, authorities said. The man was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Restaurant disturbance

  • Police were called about a disturbance around 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Dunkin' Donuts, 506 W. North Ave. Police said they found the non-English-speaking suspect, who stated that he was upset because he believed the staff had refused to serve him. An employee told police that she had informed the man it would be a moment because the restaurant was busy. The suspect was given a no-trespass notice because employees did not want him to return.

Burglary

  • Naquita Turner Ford, 27, of Chicago, and Kaylen Brown, 28, of Willowbrook, were arrested shortly after noon Tuesday on charges of felony burglary and retail theft. Police said they stole alcohol at Mariano's, 678 N. York St. The women were taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Attempted syringe theft

  • A woman was arrested after she was reported to have drugs and tried to steal a syringe about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road. She was taken to the police station and then back to the hospital. Charges are pending.

Accused of wallet theft

  • A 64-year-old Bellwood woman was arrested Friday on a theft charge. Police said the woman stole a wallet about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jewel, 944 S. York St. The woman was released.

Porch piracy

  • A package was stolen about 2 p.m. Friday from a front porch in the 200 block of East Wilson Street. The package contained a debit card, which the resident canceled. An investigation is pending.
  • A package was stolen between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29 in the parcel pickup area for an apartment complex in the 100 block of Fellows Court. An investigation is pending.
