Elmhurst Firm Holds Touch-A-Truck Event
The event gave kids and families the chance to explore the cab, pull levers and push buttons.
ELMHURST, IL – Super Ego in Elmhurst played a key role at the September 6 Touch-A-Truck event that saw more than 3,000 attendees.
Alongside other local businesses and first responders at Berens Park, they were on-site with two trucks, giving kids and families the chance to explore the cab, pull levers, push buttons and work the tow — as well as ask questions, and learn about the vehicles they see on the road every day. Super Ego also provided attendees with an extensive selection of giveaways including toys, crayons, paint, sunglasses, putty and snacks.

Looking ahead, Super Ego is also participating in Elmhurst’s Fall Festival on October 4 where it will also host a truck for kids. The expanded Elmhurst Park District relationship is grounded in Super Ego’s investment in the community that extends beyond its facilities and fleet: by creating opportunities for employees to volunteer in the city they call home.
