Update: Clerk Missing from Shell Gas Station Identified, Police Ask for Help
Police went to look for the clerk Tuesday morning at the Shell on West North.

Elmhurst police are asking for the public’s help to find the missing clerk from the Shell gas station at 654 West North Avenue.
Simone Boyd is 21, 5 feet tall, 170 pounds with long black hair, possibly in a pony tail, according to Elmhurst police. She was last seen wearing a green short sleeve polo shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information about where Boyd might be is asked to call the Elmhurst Police Department at 630-530-3050.
Police are still investigating the possible overnight robbery at the gas station.

Update: Sept. 22, 2:49 p.m.
Surveillence video from the Shell gas station at 654 West North Avenue shows a man, age 18 to 28 with a medium build, jumped over the counter and took an unknown amount of cash, according to detectives.
The man and the now-missing employee then left the building.
Police are still trying to find the employee to figure out what happened Tuesday morning. The investigation into this robbery with a missing clerk/employee is ongoing, according to police.

Elmhurst police were called around 5 a.m. Tuesday to the Shell gas station at 654 West North Avenue to check on the well being of a missing clerk.
Officers weren’t able to find the clerk, and they have begun investigating what could be an overnight robbery at the gas station, according to Elmhurst police.
Police are reviewing video for more information, and the investigation is ongoing.
