Elmhurst Woman Charged In Underage Party: Cops

She is accused of hosting the get-together in a local neighborhood.

A 49-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 600 block of South Saylor Street was charged about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at her home with hosting an underage party where minors consumed alcohol, local police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with such things as hosting an underage party, a false gun report, trespassing, retail theft and DUI. Here is information from the reports:

Underage party

  • A 49-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 600 block of South Saylor Street was charged about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at her home with hosting an underage party where minors consumed alcohol. She was released.

False gun report

  • A 46-year-old Lombard man was arrested about 7:30 a.m. on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the man reported another driver displayed a gun during a road rage incident at North and Berteau avenues. Police found the other driver, who did not have a gun. The first driver was charged because he made a similar report in the past about a road rage incident, police said. He was released.

Trespassing

  • A 57-year-old Wheaton man was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at Starbucks, 164 N. York St., on a criminal trespassing charge. He was released.

Retail theft

  • A 19-year-old Addison man was arrested about 10 a.m. on Halloween on a retail theft charge. Police said the incident occurred at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive. The man admitted to stealing alcohol, police said. He was released.

DUI

  • A 22-year-old Cicero man was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at North and West avenues on charges of DUI and speeding. He was taken to the police station and then released.
