Emergency Crews Participate in Safety Training at Elmhurst College

The college will host a series of public safety exercises this week.

ELMHURST, IL — A series of public safety training exercises will take place this week on the Elmhurst College campus.

The exercises, conducted by the city of Elmhurst along with the college, include members of the Elmhurst Police Department, the Elmhurst Fire Department and campus security inside Dinkmeyer Hall and Mill Theater, with respective parking lots also reserved for the training, according to Elmhurst College.

  • Tuesday, July 26 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

People on campus are asked to respect barricades and posted signs. Questions may be directed to campus security at 630-617-3000 or extension 3000 from a campus phone.
