The walkway at Schiller Court will be improved and widened, thanks to the Elmhurst City Council's decision to spring for a parcel to make it happen.  Officials approved last week the $240,000 purchase of a 700-square-foot property at 128-134 N. York St., according to <a href="http://www.mysuburbanlife.com/2016/09/08/elmhurst-city-council-approves-240-000-land-purchase-to-widen-schiller-court/a1xubz2/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">My Suburban Life</a>.  "According to the majority report out of the Public Works and Buildings Committee, the purpose of the purchase is to create a 'more inviting, aesthetically pleasing walkway,'" the story said.
