Bensenville, Ill. — The Bensenville Park District is gearing up for an action-packed summer of soccer, offering a variety of programs designed to help young athletes build skills, develop teamwork and have fun on the field. This summer’s offerings include travel team tryouts, skill-building camps and a professional training experience with the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.
Tryouts for the Bville Jets fall travel soccer teams will take place Saturday, June 14, at Varble Park. The tryouts are open to players ages 7 to 14 and are divided by age group: ages 7–8 from 9 to 10 a.m., ages 9–10 from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., and ages 11–14 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. An additional tryout date is scheduled for Sunday, June 15, if needed.
Led by Recreation Supervisor and Jets Coach Ty Beshiri, the sessions will evaluate players on their technical skills, tactical awareness and overall attitude. “The Bville Jets program is designed for young players ready to take the next step in their soccer journey,” Beshiri says. “Our goal is to create a competitive, supportive and fun environment that helps athletes grow on and off the field.”
