Illinois AirCheck mobile testing units coming to Bensenville parks

Bensenville, Ill. (August 12, 2025) — Illinois AirCheck mobile testing units (MTUs) will visit three Bensenville Park District facilities in the coming months to provide convenient vehicle emissions testing for area motorists.

The MTUs, specially equipped emissions testing vans, will be deployed at Bensenville’s Veterans Park, 31 E. Main St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 19-22, and Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Illinois AirCheck MTU program offers additional testing options for motorists who have received a test notice or registration renewal notice indicating an emissions test is required. Eligible motorists may confirm their vehicle’s testing requirement by using the Vehicle Eligibility Check Tool at ilairteam.com/vehicle-eligibility-check-tool, entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate number.

“By hosting mobile units at our facilities, we are giving residents another convenient way to complete a required service without leaving the community,” said Bensenville Park District Executive Director Joe Vallez.

MTUs will also be at Bensenville Water Park, 1100 W. Wood St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 15-17, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, as well as the same hours Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 15-18, and Saturday, Dec. 19.
