Low-Income Clinic Plans Villa Park Site

Thousands of residents in Villa Park are eligible for services, a suburban clinic chain said.

VILLA PARK, IL – VNA Health Care, which has locations around the Chicago suburbs, plans to open a clinic this summer in Villa Park, it announced Monday.

The new clinic is set for 101 E. St. Charles Road and will serve thousands of low-income patients who might not otherwise have access to care, according to a VNA news release.

The Villa Park clinic will be in the building that now contains Chawla Orthodontics.

The clinic will include 12 exam rooms, a wellness center, a kitchen, a laboratory and nursing stations, the news release said.

"VNA is thrilled to be able to expand our services into Villa Park, an area where thousands of residents are eligible for our quality, affordable healthcare," Linnea Windel, chief executive of VNA Health Care, said in a statement.

Villa Park's median household income is $90,287, compared with neighboring Elmhurst's $143,492, according to the U.S. Census.

VNA also has a clinic in Bensenville, among other towns.

The Villa Park clinic will be on a busy thoroughfare with bus route access, with services offered in both English and Spanish, the organization said.
