Oktoberfest Fun at the Renaissance Room Elmhurst 10/4/2025 5:00pm

The Elmhurst Knights of Columbus had a busy month hosting three events looking to raise

$50,000 for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Grand Knight Alan Quarrie shared, “There
are a lot of great local programs like Access Sports, Spred, Misericordia, Ray Graham, & Special
Olympics, that help people with special learning and life needs. We are excited to be a part of
their success and dedicated the enre Month of September to these Individuals”.
The Knights of Columbus started o/ the month with their famous Tootsie Roll Drive with over
100 Volunteers on every major corner in Elmhurst. The Knights followed that up with a Classic
Car Show Fund Raiser and the Grand Finale will be an Oktoberfest Fund Raiser on October 4th.
According to Chris Cheffer of the Knights of Columbus, “We have been very busy helping raise
awareness and money for these great local programs supporting intellectual disabilities, but now it’s time to break out your lederhosen and dancing shoes as we kick off our 17th Annual Oktoberfest Fundraiser.”

This year’s Knights of Columbus Oktoberfest is hosted at the Renaissance Room at 537 S York St. The evening starts off at 5pm with dinner being served at 6pm. The ceremonial keg will be tapped at 5:30pm and music from to 6-9PM, featuring the Brian Patti Orchestra.

We are featuring the finest fresh Bratwurst and Bavarian Holiday Kraut from Usingers brought in directly from Milwaukee Wisconsin. For over 130 years Usingers has been making traditional Bratwurst. To complement the Bratwurst, German Potato salad will also be served. For dessert we have authentic Strudel from Kuppies Bakery in Villa Park.
