Meet Princess, the Pet Pick of the Week from DuPage County Animal Care and Control.

Princess is a 1.5-year-old female pit mix. She is beautiful like Cinderella, smart like Belle, friendly like Snow White ... she is the total royal package.

She was given up when her owner could no longer afford to take care of her, but she remains hopeful her new family is just around the river bend.

Princess has been working on some basic commands, and will benefit from continued training. Because of her energetic nature, she needs to be the only dog in the household. Stop by and meet her soon!
