Villa Park, IL — A 92-year-old Villa Park woman died after she was hit by a car Friday evening in the 400 block of West St. Charles Road.Officers responding to the crash around 7:53 p.m. June 10 found the woman was seriously injured, and paramedics took her to Elmhurst Hospital, according to the Villa Park Police Department.The woman later died of her injuries, and her name has not been released, pending the notification of her family.The driver of the car that hit the woman stayed on the scene after the collision. Police report the 73-year-old Chicago resident is cooperating with the investigation, conducted by the Villa Park Police Department and the DuPage County Coroner's Office.Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Detective Sgt. William Lyons at 630-592-6117.
