When North York Project Is Set To Be Done
The city gave the status of the work, which is from Crestview to Grand avenues.

ELMHURST, IL – The North York Street improvement project is set to be completed Nov. 30, according to the city.
Prompted by a reader's inquiry, Patch asked the city Thursday about the status of the project.
In response, Elmhurst spokeswoman Kassondra Schref said work had been "commencing methodically" throughout the summer to avoid as many daily disruptions as possible to the public.

The city has done this by staging lane closures during the day only, instead of permanent lane closures, she said.
"Concrete work will be completed soon, once the new landscape center islands are completed, and then activities will pick up quite a bit in the month of October," Schref said in an email.
