York Boys Capture Conference Title
York's Karlin Janowski wins individual title as girls take second.

HILLSIDE, IL — A sudden venue change couldn’t slow down the York High School cross country teams.
Despite a chaotic, last-minute switch from the original course to Proviso West High School due to weather and scheduling conflicts, the Dukes delivered an impressive showing at Saturday’s conference championships — with the boys’ team winning the title and the girls’ team finishing a close second.
The York Dukes boys varsity team claimed the conference championship in dramatic fashion, edging perennial rival Downers Grove North by just two points. York’s trademark depth and pack running once again proved decisive, placing four runners among the top ten finishers.
