1 Dead In Shooting Inside Evanston Home On Dodge Avenue
Evanston police said multiple shooters fled the area before a related scene unfolded at the Skokie Swift station.

EVANSTON, IL — One person was shot and killed inside a home on Dodge Avenue near Church Street in Evanston late Saturday night.
Evanston police said on Twitter that a man in his early 20s was shot and killed inside the home in the 1700 block of Dodge just before 10:30 p.m. More than one shooter fled the scene before police arrived, leading to a related scene at the Skokie Swift station that did not include any gunfire, police said.
The man's identity had not been confirmed as of early on Sunday.

Evanston Police Commander Ryan Glew said the shooting does not appear to be a random act. Police did not release any more information Sunday morning.
