Adult Mosquito Control Operations Set for Monday

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) will be conducting targeted adult mosquito control operations in several North Shore communities today, including Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe and Kenilworth, between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., weather permitting, according to the NSMAD. 

Wilmette and Evanston

• From Lake Avenue South to Central Street in Evanston and from 5^th Street west to 15^th Street. See map. 

• From Lake Avenue south to Central Street in Evanston and from 5^th Street east to the lake. See map. 

• From Lake Avenue south to Central Street in Evanston and from 15^th Street west to Hunter Road. See map. 

• From Lake Avenue south to Old Glenview Road and from Hunter Road west to Hibbard Road. See map. 

Crews will also be out in Winnetka, Kenilworth and Glencoe to attempt and rid the area of adult mosquitos that could transmit West Nile Virus.
