Local Author Releases Book on Powers of Attorney

Local author Pauline Dembicki has just released Powers of Attorney: Health Care, Property, an eBook available for download on Amazon.com.

Dembicki explains that Illinois has two durable powers of attorney, one for health care (including day-to-day and end-of-life medical decisions) and one for property (money). With a power of attorney you can nominate the person you chose to help you if the need arises. In the document you include instructions about what you want. By planning you can save money, aggravation and protect your decisions and privacy. This book, written under Illinois law breaks the topic down into manageable bits and pieces to help you understand that you are placing your life and money into the hands of a third party. A dictionary is included of the terms that relate to powers of attorney.

The book will be free for download on 2-1-13.  It can be loaded on a kindle, or smart phone or computer.  The Kindle app is also free.  This is the Amazon book link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWE0IS8
