To ensure the event is safe for everyone, the city asks participants to adhere to some safety guidelines:
- Children under 18 must wear a helmet at all times
- Motorized bicycles and skateboards are not allowed
- Non-bicyclists are encouraged to walk on sidewalk along the street to support bicyclists
Residents living along Ridge Avenue will not have access to their driveways between 8 am. and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The city recommends residents planning to use their cars during that time should move their cars to a side street before 8 a.m. that morning.
