Armed Duo Robs 2 Fifth Third Banks In Half-Hour, FBI Says
The same two men robbed bank branches Monday afternoon in Evanston and Northbrook, according to the FBI.

EVANSTON, IL — Two men robbed a pair of North Shore banks at gunpoint within about 30 minutes Monday afternoon, according to the FBI.
A couple minutes after noon, the two showed up at the Fifth Third Bank branch at 240 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook.
After fleeing the scene of the first robbery, the same two men headed south and robbed another Fifth Third Bank at 2440 Main St. in Evanston around 12:30 p.m., an FBI spokesperson said.

In both cases, the robbers brandished a gun and verbally demanded cash, according to an FBI spokesperson, who provided images of the suspects captured from security video.
The robber shown with a gun was described as a 5-foot, 9- or 10-inch tall black man in his 20s or 30s with a medium build.

He wore a black hooded jacket with fur trim around its hood, a black balaclava, white sweatpants with a black strip along its outside leg, gray gym shoes and blue gloves.
The other man was described as a 5-foot, 10- or 11-inch tall black man in his 30s or 40s with a medium build.
He wore a black neoprene face covering with mirrored or reflective eye pieces, a multi-colored hooded coat with a plaid design, black jeans, white high-tops and blue gloves, according to the FBI.
