Arrests Include Underage Drinking, Battery

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: Underage Drinking, Assault, Battery

Connor J. Hackett, 19, of the 8900 block of Central Park in Skokie, and Matthew J. Munro, of the 2600 block of Hartzell in Evanston, were both arrested and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 3:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, in the 1100 block of Central Street, police reported.

Gary E. Logan, 53, of the 1800 block of Hartrey in Evanston, was arrested and charged with resisting or obstructing a police officer at 10:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at his home, according to police. 

A 33-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 1:47 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, according to police.

Joe Norman, 47, was arrested and charged with assault at 6:36 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue, police reported.

Jasmine Nicole Scott, 23, of the 7400 block of North Seeley in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 3:26 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Hull Terrace and Ridge Avenue, police reported.

Steve J. Sul, 23, of the 7000 block of Crain in Niles, was arrested and charged with battery at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, in the 1400 block of Sherman Avenue, according to police. 

Ford Explorer Stolen On Brown

Someone stole a dark green 1997 Ford Explorer that was parked in the 1800 block of Brown Avenue between 4 and 8:46 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, according to police. 

14-Karat Gold Jewelry Goes Missing

A woman’s 14-karat gold jewelry went missing from a home in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, and 7:21 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, according to police. She believes someone in the house stole her jewelry, police said.

Thief Swipes Wallet From Counter

Someone stole a black Coach wallet from the counter of a store in the 2300 block of Howard Street at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, police reported. 

Thief Steals $20 From Hospital Patient Room

Someone stole $20 from the patient room of a hospital in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue between 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, according to police.

Car Burglars Steal Tools, Briefcase, Wallet

Someone stole a set of tools from a 2008 Chevrolet that was left unlocked in the 1300 block of Monroe Street between 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, and 5:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, according to police. 

Someone broke the window of a 1994 Saab and stole a briefcase in the 200 block of Dodge Avenue between 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, and 9:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, police reported. 

A man stole a black wallet from an unlocked 2008 Ford parked in the 500 block of Grove Street at 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, according to police. 

Someone entered a 2007 Dodge that was parked in the 1600 block of Fowler Avenue between 12:01 and 2:53 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, but stole nothing, police reported. 

Windshield Wipers, Wooden Fence Damaged

A man damaged the windshield wipers of a 1997 Nissan that was parked in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue between 1:22 and 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, police reported. 

Someone damaged a wooden fence in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 2 and 4 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, according to police.
