"Skills & Drills" classes are also available for kids new to the sport of basketball.
EVANSTON, IL — Athletes between the first and fifth grades have been invited to sign up for the Evanston Parks & Recreation basketball league.
The parks and recreation department on Tuesday announced the league is running an open registration this year, meaning players can register for any team they would like to join. Athletes hoping to be on a team together need only to register for the same team, the department said.
As of Tuesday, only intra-team scrimmages can be played, the department said. The season runs from Feb. 6 to March 13.
