City's Cultural Fund Grant Application Reopens
The Evanston Arts Council's application is available on the City website.
The Evanston Arts Council's 2021-2022 Cultural Fund Grant application will re-open and be available at cityofevanston.org/culturalfund on Monday, February 15 through Thursday, April 1. Through this grant program, the City hopes to sustain and advance the community’s arts initiatives and continue to nurture arts programs and events that benefit all Evanstonians.
Given the continued impact of the pandemic, there will only be one granting category in the Cultural Arts Program. The maximum grant request is $3,000, although the actual grant award may be less than. Applications from Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) organizations, and projects or programs that serve underserved demographics and communities will be favored. Collaborations that bring the community together are encouraged. Funding is awarded to arts organizations based in or serving Evanston, for operating support, capacity-building, programs or projects. Both 501(c)3 and grassroots community arts organizations are invited to apply. For-profit entities, religious entities, and organizations not working with the arts are not eligible.

There will be two free grant-writing workshops offered specifically for the Cultural Fund Grant Program. All applicants are encouraged to attend the session:
