Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Eve M. Veis (nee Zenner). Loving father of Dr. Judith (Prof. Andrew Gavil) Veis, Sharon (Marc Blumenthal) Veis, and Dr. Deborah Veis. Proud grandfather of Justin, Noah, and Zoe Gavil, Brian (Lisa) Blumenband and Rabbi Sara Blumenthal, and Joshua and Benjamin Novack. Professor Emeritus, Northwestern University.
