EPD Checking for Drunk Drivers on Chicago Ave. This Weekend
The checkpoint is part of a Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Memorial Day campaign.
The Evanston Police Department will be conducting a roadside safety checkpoint this Saturday night, May 24th into Sunday, May 25th this Memorial Day weekend as a part of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" traffic enforcement campaign to reduce impaired driving.
The location of the roadside safety check point will be in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue.
Drivers operating a motor vehicle during this holiday weekend should have a designated driver if their plans include consuming alcoholic beverages. Be safe and don't drink and drive.
