Evanston Could Get New Mediterranean Restaurant This Summer

With four locations in Illinois, Naf Naf Grill, a Mediterranean restaurant chain, is looking to add five more stores, including one in Evanston and recently filed a city application to open at 1629 Orrington Ave., the Daily Northwestern reported. 

Dubbed the Chipotle of Middle Eastern food, the chain specializes in kebabs, shawarma and falafel and hopes to open in August at the site that used to house a Borders bookstore if the city approves the application, the Daily Northwestern reported.
