Evanston Farmer's Market Opens This Weekend

This year's full list of vendors includes over 70 businesses that offer anything from fresh produce to pastries and sweets.

EVANSTON, IL — Evanston's Farmer's Market is scheduled to reopen this Saturday.

This year marks the market's 50th anniversary and the city is offering a design competition to put on tote bags for the year. Officials will choose winning designs from people aged 15 years or older and one from kids aged 15 years or younger.

Parking for the Farmer's Market is available in the Maple Avenue garage and is free with ticket validation. Animals are not allowed at the market unless they are service animals.

The market will take place at University Avenue at Oak Street behind Hilton Garden Inn every Saturday starting at 7:30 a.m. for general admission and will run until Nov. 1.
