Evanston High School Softball Coach Steps Down to Accept Teaching Position
Kristen Proffitt, who coached four seasons at Evanston, has resigned to teach English at Waukegan High School.
Evanston Township High School softball coach Kristen Proffitt won't be returning to the district this school year. She's accepted a position as an English teacher at Waukegan High School, reported the Evanston Review.
Proffitt, who graduated from Lake Forest College and coached four softball seasons at Evanston, told the newspaper it was her dream to be a high school English teacher.
