Evanston Hospital Earns 'A' Safety Rating

Evanston Hospital, along with three other NorthShore University HealthSystem hospitals – Skokie, Glenbrook and Highland Park, have all earned ‘A’ grades in The Leapfrog Group’s semi-annual Hospital Safety Scores, Skokie Review reported.

The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit, uses 26 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to produce a single grade representing a hospital’s overall success in keeping patients safe from infections, injuries, and medical and medication errors, according to the organization’s website.
