Evanston Named 1 of '8 Great Places You've (Maybe) Never Heard Of'

Mother Earth News has named Evanston to its list of “8 Great Places You’ve (Maybe) Never Heard Of.”

The website points to the city’s Climate Action Plan and ability to significantly reduce emissions in the city, as well as new bike lanes and a robust volunteer community.

The other communities on the list are: Beaufort, South Carolina; Ashland, Oregon; Bozeman, Montana; Burlington, Vermont; Lincoln, Nebraska; Penns Valley, Pennsylvania; and Sparta, Tennessee.
